Experience
Minimum required experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
Work location:
Must be performed at the salon’s physical location (remote work not authorized).
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on beauty care treatments.
- Analyze hair and scalp condition.
- Book appointments.
- Cut and trim hair according to client instructions or preferences.
- Provide custom hair and scalp treatments, including waving, straightening, tinting, and scalp conditioning massages.
- Shampoo clients’ hair.
- Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair.
- Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair.
- Suggest hairstyles compatible with clients’ physical features and preferences.
- Maintain and order supplies.
Qualifications
- Commission (licensed practitioner).
