Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Responsibilities
Analyze hair and scalp condition.
Cut and trim hair according to client’s instructions or preferences.
Provide custom hair and scalp treatment.
Shampoo customers’ hair.
Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair.
Apply hair extensions.
Clean and style wigs and hair pieces.
Suggest hair style compatible with client’s physical features and preferences.
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses
Hairstylist Trade Certification.
Experience
1 year to less than 2 years.
Work conditions and physical capabilities
Fast-paced environment.
