We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in hair styling techniques and a keen eye for detail. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair services to our clients while ensuring their satisfaction and comfort. You will also play a key role in promoting our products and services, contributing to the overall success of our salon.
Duties
Provide a range of hair styling services, including cuts, coloring, and treatments tailored to client preferences.
Maintain knowledge of current trends in hair styling and color theory to offer clients the best options.
Assist with retail sales by recommending products that complement the services provided.
Perform eyelash extensions and nail care as needed, expanding service offerings to clients.
Mentor junior stylists and assist in their professional development within the salon environment.
Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and maintaining client records using MINDBODY software.
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the salon, adhering to health and safety standards.
Collaborate with team members on store management tasks, including inventory control and retail math.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a valid cosmetology license.
Strong skills in hair styling techniques, color application, and knowledge of current trends.
Experience in retail sales is preferred to effectively promote products to clients.
Familiarity with MINDBODY or similar salon management software is a plus.
Ability to perform eyelash extensions and nail care is an advantage.
Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards clients and team members.

Pay: $21.61 – $26.02 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
