We are seeking a skilled and passionate Hairstylist/Barber to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in styling/barbering and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that every client leaves feeling satisfied and looking their best. As a Hairstylis/Barber, you will be responsible for providing exceptional grooming services while also contributing to a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the salon.
Duties
Provide a variety of styling/barbering services including haircuts, shaves, beard trims, and styling.
Utilize clipper, scissors, and other tools with precision to achieve desired looks.
Engage with clients to understand their grooming needs and preferences.
Upsell additional services such as hair treatments or products to enhance client satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in accordance with health and safety standards.
Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in hair styling and barbering techniques.
Manage appointments using our receptionist or keep your own book.
Assist with salon duties as needed, washing and drying towels, make coffee and customer service.
Experience
Proven experience in cosmetology or barbering is required; licensure is preferred.
Knowledge of color theory is a plus for clients seeking color services.
Experience in upselling products or services to enhance customer experience.
Proficiency in hair styling techniques and trends is essential.
