Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Salon Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the beauty industry, possess excellent customer service skills, and be eager to learn and grow within the salon environment. As a Salon Assistant, you will support our stylists and enhance the overall client experience by providing exceptional service and assistance.
Duties
Greet clients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in at the front desk.
Provide support to stylists during hair services, including shampooing, conditioning, and preparing clients for treatments.
Assist with retail sales by promoting salon products and helping clients select appropriate items for their hair care needs.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon, including workstations, waiting areas, and product displays.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences regarding hair services.
Support stylists with hair extensions and other styling services as needed.
Stay updated on current trends in hair styling and beauty to provide knowledgeable assistance to clients.
Qualifications
Cosmetology License
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with clients and team members.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A passion for the beauty industry and a desire to learn new skills related to hair care and styling.
Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.

Pay: $14.00 – $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
