We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for style and a strong understanding of hair care techniques, including cutting, coloring, and styling. As a Hair Stylist, you will play a vital role in creating exceptional experiences for our clients while showcasing your creativity and expertise in hair fashion.
Responsibilities
Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, colors, and treatments tailored to individual client needs.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and techniques to offer clients innovative options.
Consult with clients to understand their desired looks and provide recommendations based on their preferences and hair type.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized.
Utilize salon software for scheduling appointments, managing client records, and processing transactions at the front desk.
Engage in retail sales by promoting hair care products and upselling services to enhance client satisfaction.
Assist with the application of hair extensions and makeup as needed, demonstrating proficiency in color theory.
Collaborate with team members to create a positive salon environment that fosters teamwork and customer loyalty.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Knowledge of salon management practices, including front desk operations and retail math.
Familiarity with salon software systems for appointment scheduling and client management is preferred.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients effectively.
Strong attention to detail and creativity in hair styling techniques.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary, to accommodate client schedules.
Certification from an accredited cosmetology school or equivalent training is required.

Pay: $36.97 – $41.35 per hour
