We are seeking a skilled and passionate Hair Stylist or Barber to join our dynamic Great Clips team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in cutting hair techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Stylist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the appearance and confidence of our clients through expert grooming services. You will work in a friendly and professional environment that values creativity, skill, and client satisfaction.
Duties
Provide high-quality haircuts and 5 Step services tailored to individual client preferences.
Educate clients on hair care products and techniques, effectively upselling services and products when appropriate.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Foster strong relationships with clients through effective communication and personalized service.
Mentor junior staff members, sharing knowledge of color theory and advanced barbering techniques.
Assist in store management tasks as needed, contributing to the overall success of the salon.
Experience
Proven experience as a Stylist or in a similar role within the cosmetology field is preferred.
Strong knowledge of various barbering techniques including cutting, styling, and bald fade.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also demonstrating independence when required.
A passion for continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends is highly valued.
