Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and skills while providing exceptional hair care services to our clients. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair styling, cutting, and coloring services, as well as contributing to a welcoming and professional salon environment.
Duties
Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling tailored to individual client needs.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and tools in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Utilize Meevo software for scheduling appointments, managing client records, and processing transactions.
Engage with clients to understand their preferences and offer personalized recommendations.
Upsell salon products and services to enhance the client experience and meet sales goals.
Assist with front desk operations including greeting clients, answering inquiries, and managing appointment bookings.
Mentor junior stylists or apprentices by sharing knowledge and techniques in hair styling practices.
Apply retail math skills to manage inventory effectively and assist in product ordering when necessary.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio of previous work.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Proficiency in various hair styling techniques, including cutting, coloring.
Familiarity with Meevo or similar salon management software is preferred.
Strong customer service orientation with the ability to upsell products and services confidently.
Ability to maintain a clean work environment by sanitizing tools and equipment regularly.
A passion for mentoring others in the beauty industry is a plus.
