Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented Hair Stylist to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about hair styling, have excellent communication skills, and be knowledgeable about the latest trends in the industry.
Duties:
– Provide exceptional hair styling services to clients based on their needs and preferences
– Perform haircuts, coloring, styling, and other hair treatments
– Sanitate workstations and tools to maintain a clean and safe environment
– Upsell salon products and services to clients
– Utilize retail math skills to recommend and sell hair care products
– Demonstrate expertise in techniques such as straight razor cutting, hair threading, makeup application, and hair extensions
– Apply color theory knowledge to achieve desired hair color results
– Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide recommendations
Experience:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
– Proficiency in sanitation practices for maintaining a hygienic workspace
– Ability to upsell salon products and services to enhance client experience
– Knowledge of retail math for recommending and selling hair care products
– Experience with straight razor cutting techniques for precise haircuts
– Familiarity with MINDBODY software for appointment scheduling and client management
– Understanding of color theory principles for achieving desired hair color results
– Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
– Proficiency in hair threading techniques for precise shaping
– Experience in makeup application for enhancing clients’ overall look
– Knowledge of hair extensions application methods for adding length and volume
