Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Braider to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hair styling and a flair for creativity, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service. As a Hair Braider, you will be responsible for creating beautiful and intricate braids while ensuring client satisfaction in a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
Perform various hair braiding techniques to meet client preferences and styles.
Consult with clients to understand their desired looks and provide expert recommendations.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
Utilize MINDBODY or similar scheduling software for appointment management.
Provide additional services such as eyelash extensions, hair threading, or nail care when needed.
Assist in store management tasks, including inventory control and product sales.
Foster positive relationships with clients through excellent communication and customer service.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and braiding techniques.
Qualifications
Proven experience in hair styling, specifically in braiding techniques.
Knowledge of cosmetology practices is preferred; relevant certifications are a plus.
Familiarity with MINDBODY or similar salon management software is advantageous.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Experience in additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, barbering, or nail care is desirable.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
A passion for beauty and aesthetics, along with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Pay: $200.00 – $300.00 per day
