We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. We are an all Organic Salon. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cosmetology and a flair for creativity, providing exceptional hair services while ensuring an outstanding customer experience. You will be responsible for delivering a range of hair styling services, including cuts, colors, and treatments.
Duties
Provide high-quality hair cutting, coloring, and styling services tailored to client preferences.
Utilize color theory to achieve desired results in hair coloring.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workstations to ensure a safe environment.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide professional advice on hair care.
Upsell salon products and services to enhance the client experience and meet sales goals.
Utilize salon software for appointment scheduling, client records, and inventory management.
Mentor junior stylists or interns by sharing knowledge and techniques to foster their development.
Qualifications
Valid cosmetology license required.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Excellent communication skills for effective client interactions.
Familiarity with salon software systems for operational efficiency.
Knowledge of color theory and its application in hair styling is essential.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
