Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a flair for creativity and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services, building lasting relationships with clients, and contributing to a positive salon environment.
Duties
Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments tailored to client preferences.
Utilize salon software to manage appointments, client records, and inventory efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon space, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized.
Engage with clients to understand their needs and offer professional advice on hair care products and services.
Demonstrate proficiency in techniques such as straight razor cutting, hair threading, and other specialized services.
Mentor junior stylists or apprentices by sharing knowledge and best practices in hairstyling techniques.
Assist in retail sales by recommending products that enhance the client’s hair care routine.
Stay updated on current trends in hairstyling and participate in ongoing education opportunities.
Qualifications
Valid cosmetology or barbering license as required by state regulations.
Proven experience in customer service with strong interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with retail sales practices and basic retail math.
Proficiency in using salon software for appointment scheduling and client management.
Experience with straight razor techniques, hair threading, or other specialized skills is preferred but not mandatory.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
A passion for mentoring others and sharing expertise within the salon.

Pay: $25.00 – $60.00 per hour
