Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated hairstylist to join our team! The ideal candidate should be passionate about the beauty industry and dedicated to providing exceptional services to clients. We are located in the heart of the fast growing Cibolo around many major businesses with plenty of walk-in opportunities! Our space is beautiful and unique- check us out @luminhairstudio on Instagram and through our website luminhairstudio.com 🙂 We offer online booking so clients have the opportunity to book on their own anytime of day. Mornings not your thing? We open at 10am everyday of the week except for Saturdays we work 9-4!
Responsibilities:
– Willingness to learn our service flow steps and expectations.
– Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling hair.
– Maintain cleanliness and sanitization of workstations and tools.
– Utilize retail sales skills to recommend hair care products to clients.
– Deliver outstanding customer service to ensure client satisfaction.
– We work as a team! Help other team members throughout the day and help with all cleaning duties.
Qualifications:
– Must be a licensed Cosmetologist.
– Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
– Proficiency in cutting techniques and current color trends.
– Knowledge of sanitation practices to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
– Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
At Lumin Hair Studio we use a beautiful color and product line called Davines, similar to Aveda in its commitment to sustainability and sourcing natural ingredients. We have many opportunities for classes over the Davines line, an education budget you can utilize, and several classes offered complimentary throughout the year!
We pay flat rate to commission on services, commission on retail sales, and accept tipping.
1+ year’s experience behind the chair/assisting preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $481.00 – $2,000.00 per week
