Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist/Cosmetologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in cosmetology practices and demonstrate exceptional customer service skills. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to connect with clients to provide personalized beauty services. As a Cosmetologist, you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills in hair, makeup, nails skincare and various beauty treatments while contributing to a positive salon environment. Solaia is not a departmentilized salon – this means you are able to perform all services you have mastered.
Responsibilities
Provide a range of beauty services of your choice.
Educate clients on products and techniques to enhance their beauty routine.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and effective communication. Solaia is a career based salon, we teach our staff to track their KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS.
Assist in retail sales by recommending products that meet client needs.
Mentor junior staff members, sharing knowledge of advanced cosmetology techniques. ALL OF OUR TECHNICIANS HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE PAID TO TEACH SERVICES THEY HAVE MASTERED.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current with industry trends.
Qualifications
Valid cosmetology license as required by state regulations.
Proven experience in cosmetology with skills in retail sales, upgrading and rebooking.
Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Passion for the beauty industry and commitment to providing high-quality services.
