Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a Hair Stylist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our clients’ beauty and confidence through expert hair care and styling services. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while staying updated on the latest trends and techniques in the beauty industry.
Duties
Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs.
Consult with clients to understand their desired looks and recommend appropriate services.
Perform additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon environment to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
Mentor junior stylists and assist in training new team members on best practices and techniques.
Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory effectively and assist clients with product recommendations.
Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and products to provide clients with the best service possible.
Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and follow-up communication.
Requirements
Valid cosmetology license or equivalent certification is required.
Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills.
Knowledge of hair threading techniques is a plus.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Strong communication skills to effectively consult with clients about their needs.
Experience in store management or retail operations is beneficial but not mandatory.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, to accommodate client schedules.

Pay: $33.93 – $39.68 per hour
