Hairstylist/Cosmetologist Jobs in United States at JCPenney
Responsibilities:
– Provide a wide range of beauty services to clients, including haircuts, hair styling, hair coloring, , makeup application, and eyelash extensions.
– Perform hair waxing services.
– Educate clients on proper hair and recommend appropriate products for their needs.
– Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
– Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
– Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in the beauty industry.
– Assist with retail sales and promote salon products.
Requirements:
– Valid cosmetology license.
– Proven experience as a cosmetologist or hairstylist.
– Strong knowledge of color theory and ability to create customized hair colors.
– Proficiency in hair styling techniques, including blowouts, updos, and braiding.
– Experience with nail care services, including manicures and pedicures.
– Knowledge of eyelash extensions application techniques.
– Excellent customer service skills and ability to build rapport with clients.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
– Strong communication skills and ability to effectively listen to client requests.
– Knowledge of store management is a plus.
