Duties
Provide professional hair cutting, coloring, and styling services tailored to each client’s needs.
Conduct consultations with clients to understand their desired looks and recommend appropriate services.
Apply makeup as needed for special occasions or events.
Utilize hair threading techniques for precise eyebrow shaping and facial hair removal.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, equipment, and workstations in compliance with health regulations.
Manage appointments and client records using salon software such as MINDBODY.
Promote retail products to clients, demonstrating knowledge of their benefits and application.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and color theory to offer innovative solutions to clients.
Communicate effectively with clients to build rapport and ensure satisfaction with services.
Skills
Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for clients.
Proficiency in makeup application techniques for various occasions.
Experience in retail sales, promoting products effectively to enhance client satisfaction.
Knowledge of hair threading techniques for precise grooming.
Familiarity with salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling and client management.
Solid understanding of cosmetology principles including color theory and hair care practices.
Excellent communication skills to engage with clients and understand their preferences.
