Who We’re Looking For:
Licensed Maryland Barber (or currently obtaining licensure)
Proven experience delivering high-quality haircuts and grooming services
Strong communication skills — must be personable, professional, and client-focused
Excellent availability and consistency — no-call/no-shows will not be tolerated
Commitment to cleanliness, punctuality, and presentation
Team-oriented attitude with a desire to contribute to a growing brand
Up-to-date on current barbering trends, tools, and techniques
Qualifications:
Valid Maryland Barber License (or ability to obtain one)
Proven experience as a barber with a portfolio showcasing skill in cuts, fades, shaves, and beard grooming
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence and client satisfaction
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and understand their preferences
Experience in a professional salon or barbershop setting (preferred, not required)
Ability to deliver a high-end client experience from consultation to final look
Reliable, punctual, and consistent with a strong professional demeanor
Team-oriented with a flexible, teachable, and growth-focused mindset
Passion for staying current on techniques, trends, and grooming innovations
Preferred Skills:
Experience working in high-end or luxury barbershop environments
Deep knowledge of modern men’s grooming trends and styles
Ability to upsell retail grooming products and offer recommendations tailored to client needs
Familiarity with brand representation and social media presence
Interest in contributing to content creation, brand events, or community outreach
Key Responsibilities:
Provide clean, precise, and stylish haircuts tailored to individual clients
Maintain a sanitary and organized station at all times
Build strong client relationships that drive loyalty and referrals
Represent the Royal Cut Kings brand with professionalism and pride
