Hairstylist/Cosmetologist Jobs in Minneapolis, MN at Millers Landing Senior Living
Millers Landing Senior Living, an 80-unit assisted living and memory care community in the beautiful Stone Arch Bridge area of downtown Minneapolis, MN, is looking to contract with a hair stylist or barber.
Qualified individuals will have cosmetology license in MN as well as the home bound license.
Millers Landing holds the health and wellbeing of our residents and staff in the highest regard. PPE is provided for all staff and is required to be worn while in the building. Infection control and prevention protocol is practiced daily at Millers Landing in order to ensure the health and safety of all residents and staff. We provide vaccines to both staff and residents.
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
To provide quality hair services including haircuts, perms, colors, and just wash and blow dry to the residents who live at Millers Landing.
Qualifications
Cosmetology license in MN
MN driver’s license.
PPE is provided and all staff are required to adhere to proper use of PPE.
Preferences
Hair styling in assisted living preferred.
Other Specialized Knowledge and Abilities
Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations and statutes that pertain to cosmetology license in MN.
Expertise in working with older adult populations.
Excellent communication skills; written and verbal: to be able to read aloud.
Organization skills.
Wage, Benefits, and Application Information
This is an agreement position, we will let you borrow the space but you will allow us to agree on what you will charge residents for this service.
