Duties:
– Perform haircuts, hairstyling, and hair treatments
– Apply makeup for special occasions or events
– Offer barbering services for male clients
– Educate clients on proper hair and skincare routines
– Recommend and sell beauty products to clients
– Maintain a clean and organized work area
– Follow all sanitation and safety protocols
Qualifications:
– Valid cosmetology license in the state of Texas
– Proficiency in various beauty techniques, including hair styling, makeup application, etc.
– Knowledge of color theory and ability to create customized hair colors
– Experience with salon software for appointment scheduling and inventory management
– Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
– Excellent customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction
– Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
