Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in hair styling techniques, color theory, and customer service. As a Hair Stylist, you will have the opportunity to create beautiful looks for clients while providing exceptional service in a welcoming salon environment. This role also includes mentoring junior stylists and contributing to the overall management of the salon.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality hair styling services, including cuts, colors, and treatments tailored to client preferences.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and techniques to offer clients innovative options.
Conduct consultations with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate services.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring all tools and products are sanitized.
Utilize salon software for scheduling appointments, managing client records, and tracking inventory.
Mentor junior stylists by sharing knowledge and best practices in hair care and styling techniques.
Offer additional services such as nail care and makeup application as needed.
Deliver outstanding customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing their concerns promptly.
Skills
Proficiency in hair styling techniques, including cutting, coloring, and straight razor skills.
Strong understanding of color theory to provide clients with optimal hair color solutions.
Excellent communication skills to effectively consult with clients and understand their desires.
Experience with salon software for efficient appointment management and client tracking.
Ability to provide exceptional customer service that fosters client loyalty.
Knowledge of nail care practices is a plus.
Leadership qualities for mentoring junior team members and assisting in store management tasks.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.26 – $50.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
