Job Overview:
Hairetics Salon (aka The Witches of 7th Street) are in search of stylists to join our team. We have been making magic with our clients for 10 years in SoMa at the edge of the historic leather district and provide a safe space in which our clients and stylists can express themselves. As an employee focused salon, we support our stylists to achieve their goals both in the salon and out.
We are looking for talented hair stylists who enjoy being creative, giving an exceptional experience to each guest, are career driven, personable, and energetic team players who adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment. Could this be you? (We hope so!)
You’ll Have:
A valid California cosmetology/barber license
1-2 yrs years experience behind the chair, minimum
Clear, kind, and timely communication, whether in person or written
Punctuality and time management skills
A desire for on-going education
Superb customer service skills
Ability to work independently and in a group-setting
Excellent reading comprehension, writing, and computer skills
Experience using Google Suite
Passion for our Industry
Bonus if you have:
Experience using Vagaro POS system
Retail experience
Training or experience in hair extensions, dreadlocks, braids
We Provide:
Pay range is $45,000-$60,000 annually for an entry level stylist, based on experience. In addition, there is opportunity to earn commission, tips, and up to 20% on retail commission
