We’re looking for a talented and experienced Hair Stylist to join our team. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable about the latest hair trends, has a passion for hair, always treats customers with respect, and displays a professional attitude. A successful candidate will be able to manage multiple clients at a time. Our salon offers both hourly and commission compensation plans plus ALL gratuities. We pay our stylists to attend continuing education to stay ahead of trends. We help build your confidence by providing a blueprint of what your career with us will look like including a training program curated specifically for your needs. We provide product education and retail sales bonuses. By-Appt is also proud to have community involvement in the Bronx and Throggsneck area.

Responsibilities:
Provide the highest level of customer service.
Sell additional products to clients.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Maintain professional relationships with stylists and customers.
Attend job-related training sessions.
Keep up with industry news and trends through reading publications and online resources.
Provide a wide range of beauty services to clients, including hair styling, waxing, makeup application, and eyelash applications.
Utilize salon software to schedule appointments, manage client information, and track inventory.
Greet clients at the front desk and provide exceptional customer service.
Recommend and sell retail products to clients to enhance their beauty routine.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in the beauty industry
Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
Qualifications:
Valid New York State cosmetology license.
3+ Years of in salon experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and creativity.
