Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a Hair Stylist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hair care services to our clients, ensuring they leave feeling confident and satisfied. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in cosmetology, excellent communication skills, and a flair for creativity. You will be responsible for staying updated on the latest trends and techniques in hair styling while delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments tailored to each client’s needs.
Consult with clients to understand their preferences and provide expert advice on styles and products.
Stay informed about current trends in hair fashion and techniques to offer innovative services.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon area, tools, and equipment.
Manage appointments efficiently using BOOKER or similar scheduling software.
Assist with front desk operations as needed, including greeting clients and answering inquiries.
Promote retail products that enhance client satisfaction and contribute to salon sales.
Demonstrate knowledge of color theory and retail math to recommend appropriate products for clients.
Perform additional services such as eyelash extensions, hair threading, or barbering when applicable.
Requirements
Valid cosmetology license required.
Strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients and team members.
Experience with retail math for managing product sales is preferred.
Familiarity with MINDBODY or similar scheduling software is a plus.
Knowledge of color theory and various hair techniques including cutting, styling, and treatments.
Ability to perform specialized services such as eyelash extensions or hair threading is advantageous.
Previous experience in store management or front desk operations is beneficial but not mandatory.

Pay: $1,000.00 – $3,500.00 per week
