Responsibilities: – Provide a wide range of hair and beauty services to clients, including haircuts, styling, coloring, and treatments – Stay up-to-date with current trends and techniques in the cosmetology industry – Consult with clients to determine their desired look and provide recommendations based on their hair type and face shape – Perform hair extension installations and maintenance – Apply makeup for special occasions or events – Perform eyelash extensions and other beauty enhancements – Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction – Maintain a clean and organized work station Skills: – Proficient in color theory and application techniques – Experienced in mentoring and training junior cosmetologists – Familiarity with MINDBODY software for scheduling and client management – Skilled in using a straight razor for precise cutting techniques – Knowledgeable in hair extension methods and application – Ability to handle front desk duties, such as scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries – Understanding of proper sanitation practices to maintain a clean and safe salon environment – Proficient in barbering techniques for male clients – Experienced in applying eyelash extensions for added volume and length – Knowledgeable in makeup application for various occasions Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
