As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services while ensuring client satisfaction and promoting salon products.
Duties
Perform a variety of hair services, including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs and preferences.
Provide nail care services as needed, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized according to health regulations.
Utilize retail math skills to assist clients in selecting appropriate hair care products and upsell additional services.
Apply makeup as requested by clients, enhancing their overall look and experience.
Demonstrate expertise in hair extensions application and maintenance, providing clients with options that suit their styles.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to salon hygiene standards.
Engage with clients to understand their preferences, offering professional advice on styles and products.
Participate in ongoing training and development to stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in hair styling.
Experience
Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role in a salon environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of hair styling techniques, including the use of straight razors for precision cuts.
Familiarity with retail sales practices and store management principles is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly.
