Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cosmetologist to join our team. As a Cosmetologist, you will provide a range of beauty services to our clients, including hair styling, makeup application, and retail sales. Your expertise in customer service and salon software will ensure a positive experience for our clients. Duties: – Perform hair styling services such as cutting, coloring, and styling hair – Apply makeup to clients for special occasions or events – Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to clients’ needs and preferences – Recommend and sell salon products to clients – Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and salon area – Stay up-to-date with the latest beauty trends and techniques – Mentor junior cosmetologists and assist with their professional development – Utilize salon software (e.g., MINDBODY) to schedule appointments, track client information, and process payments – Perform straight razor shaves for male clients (if applicable) – Adhere to all health and safety regulations Requirements: – Valid cosmetology license – Proven experience as a Cosmetologist or similar role – Strong knowledge of hair styling techniques, makeup application, and beauty products – Proficient in using salon software (e.g., MINDBODY) for scheduling and client management – Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients – Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment – Strong attention to detail and creativity in delivering beauty services Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Contract, Commission
Pay: $26.77 – $31.70 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
