Primp and Blow Austin is hiring Hair Stylists/Makeup Artists!We are an upscale blow dry bar looking to expend our team of talented individuals who can provide exceptional customer service. We love to employ those passionate about the industry, and Primp and Blow’s reputation of continually investing in our stylists’ professional growth helps ensure we maintain best in class service!Additional information related to the position:
Must be able to perform hair styling services;
Full face makeup application is strongly preferred but can be trained upon
Hair stylists should be proficient in updos and braids (such as fishtail, waterfall, pull through, reverse, French, and Dutch)
Makeup artists should be able to create a variety of looks (dramatic, natural, and period) and apply adhesive lashes;
Airbrush makeup experience is a plus but not required
Positions available for 12+ hours per week
Cosmetology license/permit required, and salon experience is strongly preferred
Must be able to work at least on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday on ongoing basis – no exceptions.
Must be able to provide superior customer service to clients and have a team-oriented attitude
Reliable transportation and punctuality absolutely required
References, photos of work, and an audition may be requested for this position
Appropriate attire and styled hair and makeup are a requirement for this position
