Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cosmetologist to join our team. As a Cosmetologist, you will provide a wide range of beauty services to our clients, including hair styling, coloring, nail care, and more. Your expertise and creativity will help our clients enhance their natural beauty and feel confident in their appearance.
Duties:
– Perform haircuts, hairstyling, and hair treatments according to client preferences
– Apply hair color, highlights, and lowlights using various techniques
– Provide nail care services such as manicures and pedicures
– Conduct consultations with clients to understand their desired look and offer professional recommendations
– Upsell salon products and services to clients
– Maintain a clean and organized work station
– Follow proper sanitization procedures for tools and equipment
– Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in cosmetology through continuous education
– Mentor junior cosmetologists and provide guidance when needed
Experience:
– Valid cosmetology license required
– Proven experience as a Cosmetologist or similar role
– Proficiency in barbering techniques is a plus
– Strong knowledge of color theory and ability to create customized hair colors
– Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
– Experience in retail sales of salon products is preferred
– Familiarity with salon management software (e.g., MINDBODY) is a plus
