Moxie Salon, located in the heart of downtown La Verne, is seeking an experienced and passionate hairstylist to join our dynamic team. We’re a well-established salon known for our welcoming atmosphere, strong client relationships, and commitment to quality service. This position is perfect for a stylist who thrives in a team-oriented environment and is ready to take on new clients, including regular walk-ins.
Responsibilities
Provide a full range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments
Consult with clients to understand their hair goals and recommend styles and services
Maintain a clean and organized workstation in accordance with salon standards
Stay up to date on industry trends, techniques, and products
Build and maintain relationships with clients to encourage repeat visits
Handle walk-in clients professionally and efficiently
Promote salon services and retail products to support business growth
Adhere to all sanitation, safety, and licensing requirements
Collaborate with team members to create a positive and supportive salon environment
Qualifications
Valid California Cosmetology License
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Professional demeanor and a positive, team-oriented attitude
Active and professional Instagram page showcasing your work
Willingness to take walk-ins and build a loyal clientele
Up-to-date on current hair trends, techniques, and products
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.75 – $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.00 per week
