From the authentic 1950’s barber chairs, our old-fashioned hot lather and straightedge razor shaves to our relaxing head and neck massages, V’s Barbershop sets a new standard for barber shops. We are looking for barbers to join our team at a new franchise location in St. Augustine, FL.

Duties:
– Provide barbering services to clients, including haircuts, straight razor shaves, beard trims, and styling.
– Offer retail sales of hair care products and accessories to patrons.
– Use POS software to schedule appointments, manage patron information, and track inventory.
– Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sanitizing tools and equipment.
– Stay up-to-date with current trends in barbering and attend training sessions as required.
– Bring customers back time after time.
-Wear the proper attire during your work shift.
-Wash and fold towels as needed.
– Perform opening and closing procedures per the V’s Experience Guide.
Experience:
– Must have a valid cosmetology or barbering license issued by the State of Florida.
– Passion for excellent customer service.
– Reliable and a passion to grow your future in a team environment.
– Able to work at least 4 shifts per week, Saturday is mandatory.

Duties
Perform haircuts, shaves, and beard trims according to client specifications.
Provide hair styling services, including hair extensions and various cutting techniques.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, tools, and equipment.
Engage with clients to understand their grooming needs and preferences.
Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience and meet sales goals.
Assist at the front desk with appointment scheduling, customer inquiries, and retail sales.
Mentor junior staff members in techniques and customer service best practices.
Offer additional services such as nail care and makeup application as needed.
Skills
Proficient in hair styling techniques and trends.
Knowledge of hair extensions application methods is a plus.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Experience with retail math to assist in product sales and inventory management.
Ability to provide exceptional customer service that fosters client loyalty.
Mentoring skills to guide less experienced barbers or apprentices.
Familiarity with nail care practices is beneficial but not required.
Capability to upsell products and services effectively while maintaining client satisfaction.
