We are seeking a skilled and passionate hair stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in hair styling techniques, exceptional communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. As a Hairstylist you will provide high-quality haircuts, styling, and grooming services to our diverse clientele while ensuring a welcoming and sanitary environment.
Duties
Perform haircuts with precision and artistry.
Utilize knowledge of color theory to provide clients with appropriate hair coloring services.
Apply hair extensions and as requested by clients.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workstations in accordance with health regulations.
Engage with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing personalized recommendations.
Manage retail products by applying retail math skills to assist clients in selecting suitable products for their hair care needs.
Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth operation of the salon.
Participate in ongoing education and training to stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in barbering.
Qualifications
Valid cosmologist license or certification as required by state regulations.
Proven experience in barbering, hair styling, and grooming services.
Strong understanding of color theory and its application in hair services.
Ability to effectively communicate with clients to understand their desired outcomes.
Experience with hair extensions
Knowledge of retail math for effective product sales management is a plus.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-focused attitude.
