Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts, color treatments, and styling services that meet our clients’ needs and preferences.
Duties
Perform haircuts, color treatments, styling, and other hair services according to client specifications.
Consult with clients to understand their hair care needs and recommend appropriate services and products.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyles, techniques, and products to provide informed recommendations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, tools, and equipment.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service.
Assist in retail sales by recommending hair care products that complement the services provided.
Mentor junior stylists or interns as needed to foster a collaborative environment within the salon.
Skills
Proficient in cosmetology techniques including hair cutting, coloring, and styling.
Knowledge of color theory to create customized color solutions for clients.
Experience with makeup application to enhance overall client appearance.
Familiarity with retail math to assist in managing product inventory and sales effectively.
Strong customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Ability to perform nail care services as an added value for clients.
Experience with straight razor techniques for precision cutting.
Skills in store management to contribute to the overall success of the salon environment.
Retail sales experience to effectively promote products and services offered by the salon.
Mentoring abilities to guide less experienced staff members in their professional development.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 22 per week
