In this role, you will:
Offer a range of hair care services tailored to the individual needs and preferences of our geriatric residents within our skilled nursing setting.
Adhere to the highest standards of safety, sanitation, and infection control, as mandated by Wisconsin regulations, with a particular focus on the unique needs of our resident population.
Exercise your ability to work independently and manage your responsibilities effectively, understanding the rhythm and requirements of a skilled nursing environment.
Maintain accurate service records while upholding strict resident confidentiality, demonstrating sensitivity and respect for their privacy.
Ensure your cosmetology license remains current and in good standing.
Collaborate seamlessly with our dedicated interdisciplinary team – including nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals – to champion the holistic well-being, vision, mission, and values of Crossroads Care Center of Pewaukee.
We are seeking candidates who possess:
A High School Diploma or equivalent.
Graduation from an accredited cosmetology program and a valid Cosmetology License in the State of Wisconsin.
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for working with and understanding the needs of a geriatric population.
Demonstrated flexibility and reliability in their availability to meet the scheduling needs of our residents within a skilled nursing facility setting.
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude when interacting with elderly individuals.
