Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in cosmetology and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that each client leaves feeling beautiful and satisfied. This role involves providing a range of hair services, mentoring junior stylists, and maintaining a welcoming salon environment.
Duties
Provide exceptional hair styling services including cutting, coloring, and styling according to client preferences.
Apply makeup as needed for special occasions or events.
Utilize knowledge of color theory to achieve desired results for clients.
Assist clients with hair extensions and other specialized services.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and tools in compliance with health regulations.
Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments using salon software such as MINDBODY.
Mentor junior stylists by sharing techniques and providing guidance on best practices.
Offer nail care services as part of a comprehensive beauty experience.
Skills
Proficient in cosmetology with a valid cosmetology license.
Strong understanding of hair extensions and various styling techniques.
Familiarity with salon software systems, particularly MINDBODY, for appointment management.
Knowledge of color theory to effectively mix and apply hair color.
Experience in makeup application to enhance client looks for special occasions.
Ability to mentor and support less experienced stylists in their professional development.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for clients.
Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on sanitation and hygiene practices.

Pay: $3,843.00 – $6,524.00 per month
