Duties
Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs and preferences.
Apply hair extensions and ensure proper maintenance techniques are communicated to clients.
Utilize color theory knowledge to create customized color treatments that enhance client satisfaction.
Provide makeup application services as needed, ensuring clients look their best for any occasion.
Offer eyelash extension services with precision and care, adhering to safety standards.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following all health and safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their desires and provide professional recommendations.
Assist with front desk duties including scheduling appointments using MINDBODY software, managing client records, and handling retail sales transactions.
Participate in ongoing education and training sessions to stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in hair styling.
Requirements
Valid cosmetology license or certification as required by state regulations.
Proven experience in hair styling, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Knowledge of hair extensions application techniques is preferred.
Familiarity with color theory is essential for creating beautiful results for clients.
Experience in makeup application is a plus but not mandatory.
Ability to perform eyelash extensions with attention to detail is desirable.
Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and understand their needs effectively.
Experience with MINDBODY software or similar scheduling systems is beneficial.
Strong retail sales skills to promote products effectively during client interactions.
A positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and willingness to learn are essential traits for success in this role.

Pay: $16.00 – $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
