Hairstylist/Cosmetologist Chair Rental Jobs in Newton Center, MA at Serina’s Hair & Treatment Salon
Responsibilities:
– Provide barbering and hairstyling services to clients, including haircuts, shaves, trims, and styling
– Perform nail care services such as manicures and pedicures
– Offer eyelash extensions and other beauty enhancement services
– Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and managing client records
– Utilize retail math skills to recommend and sell hair care products to clients
– Upsell additional services or products to enhance the client experience
– Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment
– Use MINDBODY software or similar platforms to manage appointments and client information
– Mentor junior barbers/stylists and provide guidance on techniques and customer service
– Perform hair threading techniques for clients seeking this service
– Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction
Experience:
– Minimum of [X] years of experience as a Barber/Stylist in a salon or barbershop setting
– Proficiency in a wide range of barbering techniques, including clipper cuts, scissor cuts, fades, and beard trims
– Knowledge of nail care techniques for manicures and pedicures
– Experience with eyelash extensions application is a plus
– Familiarity with retail math principles for product recommendations and sales
– Ability to upsell additional services or products to clients
– Understanding of proper sanitation practices for maintaining a clean work environment
– Proficiency in using MINDBODY software or similar platforms for appointment scheduling and client management
– Strong mentoring skills to guide junior barbers/stylists in their professional development
– Knowledge of hair threading techniques is preferred but not required
– Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for clients
