We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Braider to join our dynamic team. As a Hair Braider, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hair braiding services to our clients, ensuring they leave our salon feeling confident and satisfied. Your expertise in various braiding techniques, along with your commitment to customer service, will help create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for every client.
This is a BOOTH RENTAL application for those looking to start up their business or move from home appointments to a private work location. We are looking for passionate people who want to advertise their work and get clients, we are in a prime miami location with uncappedpotential. Booth rentals are $50 Daily rate, $100 Weekly rate, $350 and Up Monthly rate, depending what area you would need to do your work (Nail station, Facial station and/or Hairstylist chair).
Duties
Perform a variety of hair braiding styles and techniques tailored to individual client preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and equipment in accordance with health and safety standards.
Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to clients’ needs and offering professional advice on hair care.
Upsell additional services and products that align with clients’ hair care needs.
Utilize salon software to manage appointments, track inventory, and maintain client records efficiently.
Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their satisfaction throughout the service process.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and braiding techniques to provide innovative services.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Hair Braider or in a similar role within the beauty industry.
Proficiency in various hair braiding styles and techniques.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Familiarity with salon software for appointment scheduling and client management is preferred.
Knowledge of retail math to assist in product sales is advantageous.
Ability to sanitize tools and maintain a clean working environment consistently.
Experience with straight razor techniques is a plus but not mandatory.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to ensure clear interactions with clients and team members.
A passion for mentoring others in the craft of hair styling and barbering is highly valued.
