Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and motivated independent aesthetican, hairstyist, lash techs, barber, make up artist, or nail technician that would love to rent out our spa rooms/booth rent to join our vibrant salon team. As an independent aesthetican/stylist, you will have the opportunity to manage your own clientele while providing exceptional hair and beauty services. This role requires a strong focus on customer satisfaction, creativity in styling, and the ability to effectively promote your services within the salon environment.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality hair styling services, including cutting, coloring, and treatments.
Perform additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions and hair threading as needed.
Maintain a clean and sanitized work area in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Utilize salon software for scheduling appointments, managing client records, and processing payments.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations.
Engage in retail sales by promoting and upselling salon products to enhance client experience.
Collaborate with other stylists and staff to create a positive salon atmosphere.
Manage your own schedule and maintain an organized appointment book.
Requirements
Valid cosmetology or barbering license as required by state regulations.
Knowledge of retail sales techniques and experience in upselling products.
Familiarity with salon software for efficient appointment management.
Strong communication skills to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
Ability to sanitize tools and maintain cleanliness in the workspace.
Experience in additional services such as hair threading or eyelash extensions is a plus.
A proactive attitude towards building your clientele and enhancing the salon’s reputation.
