Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Braider-Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a Braider-Hair Stylist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hair care services to our clients, ensuring they leave feeling confident and satisfied. You will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and expertise in various styling techniques while delivering outstanding customer service in a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs.
Utilize straight razor techniques for precision cuts and styles.
Perform hair treatments and recommend products for home care.
Sanitate tools and workstations according to health and safety regulations.
Assist with front desk operations including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
Mentor junior braid stylists and support their professional development.
Stay updated on current trends in hairstyling, barbering, eyelash extensions, and hair threading techniques.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to enhance the client experience.
Foster strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service.
Requirements
Valid cosmetology license or equivalent certification is required.
Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio of work.
Knowledge of various braid and natural hair style techniques including barbering,
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Experience in store management or mentoring is a plus.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay: $31.65 – $36.16 per hour
