Hairstylist Salon and Spa – Part Time (Harrah’s Atlantic City) Jobs in Atlantic City, NJ at Caesars Entertainment
Provides each guest with excellent customer service while performing professional hair styling services and selling retail products that best fit the guests’ needs.
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS :
Provide hair style consultation and perform cut, style, condition, chemical and other styling services for all hair types
Maintain up to date knowledge of hairstyle trends and products
Create an image suitable for guests’ needs/event according to the physical features of the client, current styles and/or from the client instructions
Communicate and describe salon offerings, including pricing, and their benefits
Recommend and up-sell services and products that fit the guests’ needs
Offer the highest level of personalized service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic, helpful and professional attitude with all guests and team members
Demonstrate respect, sensitivity and concern for guests’ needs in a professional manner
Responsible for ensuring work area is clean and ready for each client prior to their arrival, and for proper sanitation and restocking after each use according to departmental policy
Maintain clean, organized work area with adequate supplies and attractively displayed retail products
Perform other duties as assigned
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Prior customer service experience. Prior hair stylist experience. Must hold license from New Jersey State Board of Cosmetology and Hairstyling.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Detail oriented
WORK ENVIRONMENT :
Diverse, fast-paced, deadline driven, multi-project coordination, prioritizing and flexing to accommodate last minute requests and changes.
