As a stylist and associate, some of your responsibilities should include the following.
In salon classes
Continued education outside of the salon
Identify your guests needs by asking pointed questions
Recommend styles that are suitable according to your guests face shape and style
Recommend and use products that are suitable for their hair and scalp
Are able to apply a wide range of coloring and lightening techniques
When available, accommodate walk-ins
Form a bond with all guests and stylists
Up-sell services and products
Help maintain cleanliness of salon as well as your station
**Must have a valid NJ Cosmetology License
**Associates must have at least 1 year experience working in a salon
