Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing high-quality haircuts, shaves, and grooming services while creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for clients. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to educate clients on hair care and styling options.
Responsibilities
Provide professional barbering services, including haircuts, beard trims, and shaves.
Educate clients on hair care techniques and recommend products for maintenance.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, workstations, and the salon environment.
Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
Stay updated on current trends in hairstyles and grooming techniques.
Assist in supervising junior barbers or apprentices as needed.
Participate in community events or fundraising activities to promote the barbering profession.
Experience
Proven experience as a Barber or in a similar role is preferred.
Experience working with students in an educational setting is a plus.
Strong public speaking skills to effectively communicate with clients and during educational sessions.
Background in education administration or curriculum development is advantageous.
Ability to manage time effectively and supervise staff when required.
Familiarity with budgeting processes related to salon operations is beneficial.

Pay: $17.00 – $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
