As the Head Buyer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the purchasing activities of our company. You will lead a team of buyers, ensuring strategic sourcing, negotiation, and procurement of goods and services that align with our business goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement sourcing strategies to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers. Develop client service strategies and programs to support sales growth and provide the ultimate shopping experience to the customer Optimize inventory levels and ensure availability of products.
Stay updated with market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments. Develop and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective purchasing practices.
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
6+ years of experience in buying & merchandising.
Proven experience as a Buyer, understanding of luxury fashion & sustainability.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.
