Our client, a growing Consumer Retail company is looking to hire aHead of Category Management to oversee and elevate their product offerings. This role is critical to shaping their assortment strategy, building strong supplier partnerships, and ensuring their customers have access to premium, trend-forward products.
As the Head of Category Management, you will be at the forefront of driving category growth by identifying and onboarding new suppliers, negotiating contracts, and analyzing market trends to ensure they stay ahead of the competition. Your role will involve crafting commercial strategies, collaborating with internal teams to optimize assortment, and working with the marketing team to develop impactful campaigns. You will also conduct performance analysis, leverage consumer insights, and ensure compliance with industry regulations to maintain the highest standards for our products.
The ideal candidate has strong commercial acumen, proven experience in the consumer lifestyle industry, and expertise in category management or procurement within retail or e-commerce. Exceptional negotiation skills, analytical capabilities, and a deep understanding of beauty product trends are essential. Experience in beauty and fragrance categories will have an added advantage.
