THE ROLE

Reporting into the Chief Creative Officer (CCO), you will play a key role in developing and executing a comprehensive creative strategy that delivers to Hush’s creative vision and visual objectives across all customer touchpoints. You will leverage your creative experience in parallel with your ability to think strategically to develop creative concepts that have a strong narrative, are unique in the market, and build the Hush world whilst also provoking emotion in the Hush woman. In addition, you will support the CCO by overseeing art and design, ensuring that the Hush style guide is executed consistently across multiple brand touchpoints, including events and stores. You will work in a collaborative and agile way, demonstrating your ability to balance creative and commercial objectives and build trusted relationships with others to effectively direct all work, whether through external agencies, freelance vendors, or internal production resources, ensuring best-in-class output is delivered on time and within budget.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES

Campaign – collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand campaign, consumer and cultural context and translate these insights into creative campaign concepts.

Lead the creative process, from research and concept to art direction, post-production to asset creation, ensuring all content is on-brand, and delivers the brief objectives.

Serve as Lead Art Director for campaigns, overseeing the image direction of the brand and governing post-production of photography and moving image.

Inspire and direct designers to execute design briefs across all digital and print brand touchpoints.

Oversee continuous design improvement on hush-uk.com

Continually assess and optimize creative workflows to enhance efficiency and output quality.

Nurture industry relationships and build a large network of creatives around the brand including art directors, photographers, stylists and DOPs.

Monitor creative and industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to inform and inspire creative approaches.

Lead and mentor a small and passionate team of creatives across art and design, to ensure the creation of high-quality, impactful content.

THE PERSON

Extensive experience leading a studio or creative team as a Head of Art and Design or Creative in either agency or in-house environments; experience with fashion, lifestyle or cultural-impact brands preferred.

Proven ability building, managing and inspiring Creative teams, with a track record of successful project execution and team development.
