We are growing fast, and we're scaling the creative studio that will carry that growth.
The Role
As Head of Creative Studio, you will be the backbone of our Paris creative team: part creative director, part traffic manager, part team leader. You will own the studio's output, its planning, and its wellbeing.
The role is based in our flagship Paris office in the 20th arrondissement, a recently renovated glass-roofed atelier space.
Creative planning & traffic management
- Own the creative production planning, managed in our proprietary platform, across Darbyon's 70+ clients: reconcile deadlines with the team's creative capacity into a single, reliable schedule
- Run a weekly planning review with the CCO and a weekly alignment meeting with all project managers to ensure timing and deadlines match account needs
- Anticipate bottlenecks, arbitrate priorities, and keep delivery predictable across a high-volume, multi-account pipeline
- Source additional resources, including external ones, when needed to cover production demands
Team leadership
- Be the go-to person for the entire creative team: specific requests, concerns, training needs, and any difficulty a creative may face on a given account
- Work directly with the creative strategists on accounts requiring particular creative attention
- Be the guarantor of the smooth functioning of the Paris Creative Team
Creative direction
- Maintain the creative bar across accounts: fashion-editorial precision, luxury sensibility, craft
- Stay hands-on: you will continue to work on accounts, with dedicated non-staffed time each week to run the studio
Who you are
- 7+ years of experience in creative production, creative direction, or studio management, ideally in a fast-growing startup or agency environment
- AI-native: you have already worked with AI workflows and on AI-driven productions. You understand model dynamics and can navigate different generation workflows across image and video
- A natural manager: you know how to lead creatives, protect their focus, and grow their skills
- A traffic management brain: you love turning chaos into a clean, realistic planning that everyone trusts
- A creative director's eye: you can raise the quality of any asset that crosses your desk
- Fluent in French (mandatory) and English, fully comfortable in an international context
- Based in Paris, available to start immediately
