FAD International Academy is seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Department (HOD) – Fashion & Luxury Management Programs to lead, innovate, and elevate the academic experience across our campuses. This role requires a strong academic and industry background, ensuring that our programs remain aligned with global fashion and luxury business trends.
Who We Are Looking For
A master’s degree (or higher) in fashion management, luxury brand management, business administration, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in academic leadership, teaching, or industry roles within fashion and luxury management.
Strong knowledge of fashion business strategy, luxury brand development, and emerging industry trends.
Experience managing multi-campus academic operations while ensuring consistency in program delivery.
An established network within the fashion, luxury, and academic sectors to enhance student industry exposure.
A passion for mentoring and developing future professionals in the fashion and luxury industries.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the academic curriculum, faculty management, and industry collaborations to ensure a high-quality learning experience.
Develop and implement Masterclasses, Industry Projects, and Case Studies to enhance practical exposure.
Lead and mentor faculty members, ensuring that course content meets industry standards.
Strengthen industry partnerships to expand opportunities for internships, mentorships, and student placements.
Represent FAD at global industry events, fashion summits, and academic conferences.
Ensure smooth academic operations, including grading, assessment deadlines, and faculty coordination.
Support student career progression through entrepreneurial mentorship, research initiatives, and internship facilitation.
