The position of Head of Digital & Media will work for the three divisions of the business (Fragrance and Beauty, Fashion, and Watches and Fine Jewelry). Among the main responsibilities in Digital, the candidate will lead e-business teams for Fragance & Beauty as well as digital client engagement and data initiatives in CHANEL’s Latin American export markets and travel retail Americas (CUPFSA Market).

This position will also be responsible for increasing digital engagement among the three divisions and implementing, monitoring, and improving the brand’s digital experiences in Latam; seeking an omnichannel vision across channels and divisions, managing client care, exploring clienteling tools and improving CRM communications towards a client-centric approach.

This person will also be responsible for the neat orchestration of media campaigns across all channels, for all divisions, looking not only for brand awareness, but to the complete funnel; including major acquisition channels, from paid search, social, SEO, OOH, Print, Cinema, TV to media performance optimization.

In summary, the position will be the guardian of digital culture in the market, being responsible for E-Business, Digital Communications, Paid Media, Client Experience & Omnichannel.

What Impact You Can Create At ChanelMEDIA

Ensure media strategy fully supports brand strategy and addresses key business challenges including our growing e-business in the region, ensuring coherence between global and local strategy.

Agency Relationship: Ensure the agency is being briefed correctly on strategic challenges and that appropriate media solutions are being put in place. Ensure pertinent business developments are swiftly communicated to the media agency. Ensure the agency team configuration is fit for purpose at all times.

Key Media Owner: Senior point of contact for all key media owners, Represent the Company in an appropriate manner, balancing authority with integrity, ensure relationships are maintained at optimum level to leverage investment. Ultimately approve key proposals from media owners and update stakeholders with relevant proposals.

Regional Liaison: Primary contact for Regional Media Director to communicate and/or align on CUPFSA media strategy and point of view as appropriate. Provide Regional Media Director with analysis and up to date information on annual budget setting.

Ensure relevant media, brand awareness/image, social and competitive insights are cascaded in the business and regionally.

Campaigns deployment: Define que annual campaigns calendar in accordance with global and regional guidance. Liaise with local marketing and commercial teams to align on priorities. Be the guarantor for campaigns effective and efficient performance across the whole funnel. Proactively monitor campaign implementation and execution. Perform timely campaign reports (planned, live, post).

Initiate top to top conversations with agency leadership to ensure smooth running of the account today but also anticipate on future needs.
