A world-renowned luxury skincare brand is looking for an innovative Head of Ecommerce. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with a hybrid working pattern (two days per week in their London head office).
As Head of Ecommerce, you’ll be responsible for leading and shaping the digital strategy. From overseeing website development and UX to managing paid media, CRM, and customer service, you’ll ensure a seamless and engaging customer journey. Owning the P&L and trading strategy, you’ll lead the in-house Ecommerce team and external agency partners, driving both revenue and brand elevation.
Responsibilities:
Lead the global vision and planning across all digital channels, including website development, UX, site trading, paid media, CRM, and customer service.
Take full ownership of the ecommerce P&L, setting and executing strategies to achieve revenue targets while managing budgets effectively.
Oversee performance across Paid Social, Google Ads, and Affiliate channels, working closely with agencies to optimise budgets and campaigns.
Develop a data-driven digital trading strategy, balancing sales performance with brand elevation goals.
Expand and refine retention strategies across CRM channels such as email, SMS, loyalty programmes, and customer service.
Define best practices for customer experience and platform functionality, ensuring seamless site performance.
Lead and mentor the in-house team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and growth.
How You’ll Dazzle Us
Previous leadership experience in digital and ecommerce; ideally acquired in a multichannel environment within the beauty, fashion, luxury or related industries.
Proven track record of driving strong digital trading performance; excellent business acumen with a desire to elevate the brand at the same time.
Expertise in digital marketing, merchandising and customer experience.
Excellent analytical skills and detail orientation, with expertise in Microsoft Excel.
Entrepreneurial mindset with hands-on experience.
Proven people development skills; commitment to mentorship and individual growth.
Comfortable managing multiple responsibilities and complex projects, ensuring alignment across internal and external stakeholders.
