The Head of US/CA Markets owns the end-to-end performance and execution of the US e-commerce business, driving revenue, conversion and profitability. This is a senior individual contributor and team leadership role. You will be the most senior e-commerce presence on the ground in the US. the person who connects what’s happening in the market to clear actions, and who translates business performance into a narrative leadership can act on. You will operate with high autonomy on decisions impacting the bottom line, while staying closely aligned with the broader Western e-commerce strategy.
Scope & Accountability
- Full ownership of US market e-commerce performance
- Local decision-making on P&L within agreed parameters
- Day-to-day leadership and development of the NY team (5 people)
- Primary point of contact between the US operation and the Western e-commerce leadership team
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Performance
- Own the trading cadence: weekly, monthly and seasonal reviews with a clear narrative on what’s working, what’s not, and what needs to happen next
- Analyse business performance end-to-end: traffic, conversion, AOV, margin, returns, customer behaviour
- Identify risks and opportunities early and drive cross-functional action to address them
- Manage US revenue forecasting and ensure alignment with global planning cycles
Customer & Digital Experience
- Own CRM strategy and execution for the US market acquisition, retention and lifecycle
- Lead CRO initiatives to improve conversion across the funnel
- Ensure the digital experience reflects the brand and commercial priorities of the US market
Team Leadership
- Lead, coach and develop a team of 5, bus developer, community, merchandising and logistics.
- Build a culture of accountability and learning within the team.
- Act as the connective tissue across functions, ensuring community, merchandising and logistics are working towards the same commercial goals
Stakeholder Communication
- Provide regular, structured updates to the General Manager and E-commerce Direcrtor on US performance
- Flag issues early and come with solutions, not just problems
- Partner with global functions (marketing, product, finance) to ensure the US perspective is represented
Experience
- Proven experience owning e-commerce P&L end-to-end, not just one function
- Strong commercial instinct, ability to read the business and know where to focus
- Experience leading and developing junior teams
- Clear, structured communicator, can turn complex data into a simple narrative with clear actions
- Based in or willing to relocate to New York
- Background in fashion, lifestyle or consumer retail preferred but not required
Functional Expertise
- Strong understanding of e-commerce business drivers (traffic, conversion, LTV)
- Experience in commercial planning, pricing and performance optimisation
- Ability to connect business strategy with execution
